America, I stand before you today a transformed and righteous man. Many of you are familiar with The Purity Initiative, an assertive measure of widespread societal decency championed by the First Lady. Tonight, I have the pleasure of announcing to the American people that the United States Purity Act has passed through Congress by an astounding majority vote.
((HOLD FOR APPLAUSE))
For those of you in our communities who still have reservations about this bill, I am here to remind you of little Daniel Evers, the young boy who was videotaped by his own parents. An innocent victim liberated from a child pornography ring that shocked the small community of Corisfield, Indiana in 1976.
Or of Maude Lockheart, the young woman assaulted by a group of men outside her Brooklyn apartment just this year, as they tore across the city in an unprecedented sexual crime spree after gorging themselves on peep shows in Times Square.
Daniel Evers, this bill is for you.
Maude Lockhart, this bill is for you.
And for Bobby Gallen, a struggling farmer in Sunpoint, Idaho, who has expressed frustration over his diminishing hope for the chastity of his three teenagers daughters.
And for Pete Mayfield, a banker from Coral Beach, Florida, paralyzed after a head-on collision with a trucker who lost control of the wheel while receiving sexual gratification from a sex worker.
Bobby, Pete, this bill is for you.
And for my very own family, determined to build a life of virtue and morality amidst a vulgar and polluted society.

This bill is for you.
And to everyone who struggles to raise their children in the path of righteousness. To those who are forced to turn a blind eye as yet another adult movie theater or peep show is erected in your community. To those of you who must shield your children’s eyes as you pass a store showcasing sex toys and other obscene paraphernalia right in your very own town…
This bill is for you.

It is our mission—our duty—to expunge the corruption that has polluted our decent neighborhoods. From this day forward, our children will no longer be sullied by the dark gratification of immoral people. Those who wish to control them, profit from them, consume them. No. From this day forward, our children will be protected. Our children will be safeguarded from smut, from filth. Our children will be granted their God-given endowment of innocence. And one day, not so far from now, a generation will be born that knows nothing of immorality. They will be born pure. Virtuous. Immaculate.
